Wild Superfood Workshop
Venue: 289 Chadwick Rd, Tauranga
Date: 28 March 2020
Start Time: 10:00am
End Time: 02:00pm
Age Restriction: All Ages
Wild edible weeds are super-foods with many nutritional, medicinal and soul nourishing qualities. Come journey with me in my own piece of paradise in suburban Tauranga and meet these incredible plants who are survivors. They are the ones who flourished in the drought we are still experiencing (I am sure it will have rained by 28th March). You'll get to understand why we have them and their role in nature and hear all sorts of healing stories I've collected along the way. We'll also cover plants unsafe to eat.
A shared lunch networking with wonderful like minded people is part of the experience, and I'll have wild food creations for you to sample. In addition we'll make an infused vinegar to help boost your immune system for winter.
This is a Bay of Plenty Sustainable event.
